STS-61 A – D1 patch – original artwork

8x10 sheet with three different hand painted and drawn sketches for the D1 mission patch by space artist Detlev van Ravenswaay who was commissioned to the the patch for the DFVLR in the early 1980s. 

Comes with a separate sketch hand drawn by van Ravenswaay showing Bonnie Dunbar in the Spacelab biorack.

Hand signed and dedicated by van Ravenswaay. A unique piece of German space history !
