Soyuz TMA-13M Crew-Signed Baikonur Launch Cover – Alexander Gerst, Maxim Suraev & Reid Wiseman – From the Jacques Bracke Collection
An exceptional Soyuz TMA-13M launch cover from Baikonur Cosmodrome, hand-signed by the complete three-person crew: Soyuz Commander Maxim Suraev, ESA astronaut Alexander Gerst, and NASA astronaut Reid Wiseman.
Soyuz TMA-13M launched from Baikonur on May 29, 2014, carrying the trio to the International Space Station for Expeditions 40/41, where they spent approximately five and a half months conducting scientific research and station operations.
The cover has gained particular historical significance through the subsequent careers of its signers. Alexander Gerst became one of Europe’s most prominent astronauts, while Reid Wiseman later commanded Artemis II, NASA’s first crewed mission of the Artemis program and the first human voyage around the Moon since the Apollo era. Artemis II launched on April 1, 2026, with Wiseman commanding Victor Glover, Christina Koch and Jeremy Hansen on their historic lunar flight.
Provenance: From the personal collection of renowned astrophilatelist Jacques Bracke, adding distinguished collector provenance to this already highly desirable example of modern crewed-spaceflight philately.
A compelling artifact linking the long-established Soyuz tradition, International Space Station operations, European human spaceflight, and the return of astronauts to the vicinity of the Moon.
