Soyuz TMA-18M/19M Expedition 46 Flown ISS Cover — Signed by the Complete Crew

Exceptional official RSC Energia Expedition 46 cover, genuinely flown aboard the International Space Station and hand-signed by the six astronauts and cosmonauts who formed the complete Expedition 46 crew:

Expedition 46 began in December 2015 and brought together an outstanding international crew from the United States, Russia and the United Kingdom. The mission was commanded by veteran NASA astronaut Scott Kelly, with Kornienko, Volkov, Malenchenko, Kopra and Peake serving as flight engineers.

The cover is associated with two important Soyuz spacecraft. Soyuz TMA-18M launched from Baikonur on 2 September 2015 with Sergey Volkov, ESA astronaut Andreas Mogensen and Kazakh cosmonaut Aidyn Aimbetov. Although Mogensen and Aimbetov completed short-duration missions, Volkov remained aboard the ISS and later returned to Earth in TMA-18M with Scott Kelly and Mikhail Kornienko.

Kelly and Kornienko had launched together aboard Soyuz TMA-16M in March 2015 and spent 340 consecutive days in space as participants in the landmark NASA–Roscosmos One-Year Mission. Their extended stay allowed researchers to study how long-duration spaceflight affects the human body, providing valuable knowledge for future missions to the Moon and Mars. They returned aboard Soyuz TMA-18M with Sergey Volkov on 1 March 2016.

Soyuz TMA-19M carried Yuri Malenchenko, Tim Kopra and Tim Peake to the station on 15 December 2015. Following an issue with the automated rendezvous system, Malenchenko manually docked the spacecraft with the ISS, completing the six-member Expedition 46 crew.

The mission also marked the beginning of Tim Peake’s six-month Principia mission. During his stay, the British ESA astronaut supported scientific investigations, educational activities and station operations before continuing into Expedition 47.

With its authentic ISS flight history and complete multinational crew-signature combination, this is far more than a conventional commemorative envelope. It connects two Soyuz missions, the historic Kelly–Kornienko One-Year Mission and one of the most recognizable international crews of the ISS era.
