Apollo 14 flown Kapton foil + CM plug acrylic

Apollo 14 - Return to the moon after Apollo 13.

With Apollo 14 NASA returned their manned lunar landings after the Apollo 13 abort. Alan Shepard and Edgar Mitchell used a two-wheeled cart on the moon and Shepard became the first golf player on the moon. Stuart Roosa meanwhile remained in the command module in lunar orbit. 

Acrylic block containing a flown piece of Kapton foil and a flown fragment from a plug - both recovered from the Apollo 14 Command Module after the flight.

Made out of the most advanced acrylic available on the market today - Plexid 55 - these are ultraclear with no discoloration over time. Unlike other privately made acrylics or lucite, these are real blocks, not cheaply glued or screwed together. 

Each block is about 5''x3''x1'' in size - perfect for any office table or even flat down in a cabinet. 

Only 50 such acrylics were made and each comes with a COA.
