Rare Expedition 59 Flown ISS Cover – Christina Koch & Anne McClain – Dual Spacewalk-Date Postmarks – Jacques Bracke Collection

An exceptional flown International Space Station cover from Expedition 59, hand-signed by the six-member crew: Oleg Kononenko, Anne McClain, David Saint-Jacques, Nick Hague, Alexey Ovchinin, and Christina Koch.

The cover bears onboard ISS cancellations dated March 22 and March 29, 2019, directly linking it to two historically significant Expedition 59 spacewalks. On March 22, Anne McClain and Nick Hague conducted their first EVA. March 29 had originally been scheduled to see McClain and Christina Koch perform the first all-female spacewalk in history, but NASA revised the assignment because only one correctly sized medium spacesuit torso could be prepared in time. Koch and Hague ultimately conducted the March 29 EVA.

The signatures of both Christina Koch and Anne McClain give the cover particular historical resonance. Koch later became one of the four crew members of Artemis II and, in April 2026, became the first woman to travel to the vicinity of the Moon, alongside Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, and Jeremy Hansen.

Provenance: From the personal collection of renowned astrophilatelist Jacques Bracke.

A rare and historically compelling flown ISS artifact connecting Expedition 59, the originally planned first all-female EVA, two significant onboard spacewalk dates, and Christina Koch’s later landmark journey around the Moon aboard Artemis II.

Comes with official AIEP COA.
