Expedition 47 / 48 Flown ISS Cover – Official RKK Energia Edition – Crew-Signed – Jacques Bracke Collection

A scarce official RKK Energia flown International Space Station cover from Expeditions 47 and 48, hand-signed by the expedition crews associated with this important period of ISS operations.

The combined crew roster included Timothy Kopra, Yuri Malenchenko, Timothy Peake, Jeffrey Williams, Oleg Skripochka, Alexey Ovchinin, Anatoli Ivanishin, Takuya Onishi, and Kathleen Rubins. Expedition 47 marked the continuation of long-duration international operations aboard the station, while Expedition 48 saw further scientific research, station maintenance, and crew rotation through both Soyuz and visiting spacecraft.

This period was particularly notable for the participation of ESA astronaut Tim Peake, the first British ESA astronaut to live aboard the ISS, and for the arrival of Kathleen Rubins, who later became known for pioneering DNA sequencing in space.

Provenance: From the personal collection of renowned astrophilatelist Jacques Bracke.

A highly desirable flown and crew-signed RKK Energia issue documenting two consecutive ISS expeditions and the continued evolution of long-duration international human spaceflight.
