SpaceX Crew Dragon Demo-2 Flown ISS Cover – Signed in Space by the Demo-2 and Soyuz MS-16 Crews

An exceptional flown philatelic cover carried aboard the historic SpaceX Crew Dragon Demo-2 mission, the first crewed test flight of SpaceX’s Crew Dragon spacecraft and the mission that restored crewed orbital launch capability from the United States.

Comes with official AIEP COA.

The cover was signed in space aboard the International Space Station by members of both the SpaceX Demo-2 and Soyuz MS-16 crews:

Douglas Hurley, Robert Behnken, Anatoli Ivanishin, Ivan Vagner, and Christopher Cassidy.

It further bears three onboard International Space Station postal markings, including a postmark from the Russian segment of the ISS, providing important mission-related provenance and enhancing its significance as a genuine flown space-philatelic artifact.

The Demo-2 mission, launched on May 30, 2020, marked a major milestone in modern human spaceflight. Flown ISS covers associated with Crew Dragon missions and signed by the corresponding astronaut crews are known in only very limited quantities, typically in editions of approximately 15 to 30 examples per mission.

Unlike conventional commemorative launch covers, officially crew-signed launch covers from SpaceX Crew Dragon missions have generally not been made available to collectors through normal public channels. As a result, flown ISS covers signed in orbit by the participating crews occupy a particularly desirable position within contemporary space philately.

Combining actual spaceflight carriage, in-orbit astronaut signatures, official ISS postal markings, and direct association with the landmark Demo-2 mission, this cover represents a significant and highly collectible artifact from a defining chapter in the history of commercial and crewed spaceflight.
