Apollo 15 lunar surface flown checklist segment

Lunar surface flown checklist segment mounted on an 8x10 presentation certified on the backside.

Apollo 15 was the first ‘J-mission’ to stay on the lunar surface for three days. It was also the first use of the ‘Lunar Roving Vehicle’ (LRV). The Commander of Apollo 15 was David "Dave" Scott, who had flown on Gemini VIII and on Apollo 9. The space rookies James "Jim" Irwin and Alfred "Al" Worden were Lunar Module Pilot and Command Module Pilot. The command module was named ‘Endeavour’ and the lunar module's name was ‘Falcon’.

The segment comes from a lunar surface flown spare page from the surface flown "LM contingency checklist" - ex-collection David Scott.

This edition is limited to 50 presentations only.

Please note: Due to the nature of the source artifact each presentation differs slightly in color and shape.

Disclaimer: Although the original piece comes from the collection of Apollo 15 mission commander David Scott, Mr. Scott is not involved in this edition nor does endorse it.
