Apollo 17 Lunar Surface Flown Checklist (4 Pages) – Certified by Commander Gene Cernan

This extraordinary artifact consists of the front cover and three internal sheets from the official Apollo 17 lunar surface flown checklist, carried to the Moon aboard the Apollo 17 Lunar Module Challenger in December 1972. Each page was present on humanity’s final Apollo lunar landing mission, which marked the culmination of NASA’s Apollo program.

Personally certified and hand-signed on the cover by Gene Cernan – Apollo 17 Commander and the last man to walk on the Moon – this historic set is further accompanied by Cernan’s own certificate of authenticity, along with two additional Certificates of Authenticity from Moonpans.

These checklist pages were not simply carried into lunar orbit – they were flown to the Moon’s surface itself, making them direct witnesses to the Apollo 17 crew’s exploration of the Taurus-Littrow Valley. Apollo 17 was the longest crewed lunar mission, featuring over 22 hours of EVAs and the collection of over 240 pounds of lunar samples. It was also the last time humans set foot on the lunar surface.

Key Features:

  • Four-page set: front cover + three inner sheets from the Apollo 17 lunar surface checklist

  • Flown to and used on the lunar surface, December 1972

  • Front cover certified and signed by Commander Gene Cernan

  • Comes with Cernan’s personal COA and two independent Moonpans COAs

This piece is not only a remarkable piece of Apollo flight heritage, but also a poignant reminder of the moment Gene Cernan left the last human footprints on the Moon.
