STS-1 large FLOWN US flag and flown silk crew patch

VERY RARE large 12x8'' !!! flown US flag and flown silk crew patch awarded to the University of Texas.

Fantastic presentation (with an overall size of 16x20'') bearing a large US flag and a silk patch, both flown on the very first Space Shuttle mission STS-1 with commander John Young and Bob Crippen. (signatures are preprinted on the certificate).

These large flags like in the Apollo days are very rare and were only given to special people compared to the more common 4x6'# flags.

This is the first such large flag and patch we have handled in our history.
